Why Am I Reading? (An Excerpt From My Brain)

I'm in no position to claim that, I'm actually a bookworm or somekinda page-eater but I'll admit that I am so much in love with books and reading them [as long as it interests me I'll read it no matter what.] Moving on, I basically forgot when did I start reading books and how did I become so addicted to it and why did I enjoy doing it. I know that, I'm kinda becoming cheesy with my words on that part but seriously, I really love reading and books [again].

Why?

I know you'd ask that, well hmmm... Let me think about it. Well, maybe because you could explore and create your own adventures through the books you're reading. You will meet a lot of people and as you flip through to the pages of a book you'll realize that, just like that you've grown to love them and well, some will make you gonna hate them. Or wait, maybe because I didn't know that a single page or story or book can somehow make you see things differently and gives you a wider view of what's outside your comfort zone. You'll recognize things that you thought never ever existed but truth is, they are always there only, you failed to see them at the first glance. Yes, second chances is how we usually call it. It's not just a matter of a thing that pushes you off somewhere just to see everything around you, it follows a process of introduction, acquaintance and then to a comrade to build a better notion on what's around you. I blabber that much eh? I don't know, I feel as though reading projects a vital role in a person's imagination and/or understanding.

I don't basically, advising you guys to just read and voila! You'll develop a Princess Sara Crewe manners or a superb deduction abilities like Holmes just like that. It somehow pushes you to think about things around you and what better stuff can be done about them. A guiding light. Or perhaps a manual to things you've been longing to learn. Don't get me wrong, experiences are one of the best life teachers but just like doing researches, you also need to find other resources to be able to make the cut in living in this world. So I guess, that's how books work for me. It teaches us lessons, and creativity but at the same time, it keeps our mind well-trained and entertained.

But How?
I think it is not a question of how, but rather it's about a person's willingness to read. And yes, I'm willingly okay to read a bulk of them, as long as [again] it interests me. Reading is not about how many libraries you've gone through because you're already done reading all the books in it but, it's always a matter of how well did you understand and if you enjoyed reading it. Sooner or later, when you really love what you've read. The urge to see and find more good books will follow. It isn't hard to like or appreciate books, I think it's just about finding the right piece for your taste. I don't really believe that there are people who find books boring. In fact, I think reading is more like finding the right ingredients for the recipe you're cooking.

Bottomline?
There's really no bottomline here. My thoughts just kinda have this sudden outburst to write something and that something turned out to be my inclination about reading books. I'm no Einstein or Hawking but I think, I'm kinda in the position to tell you that reading is one hell of a experience, in which, you could learn and gain a lot of things. In short, you'll get more cause you'll never lose anything. Also, at every end of the page your realization will pop into your head that, "Oh boy, its been one hell of story!" with a smile on your lips.
